Template and Procedure for Sending a Move-In Email

This article provides a step-by-step guide and template for sending a move-in email once the property is ready for occupancy.

Procedure:

  1. Verify the Property Status:
    • Ensure the property is marked as Rent Ready or New Construction - Rent Ready in Propertyware.
  2. Select the Correct Template:
    • Choose the correct email template depending on the assigned property manager.
    • Templates are available for various property managers such as Amanda Brown, Elma Avila-Pena, and others.
  3. Important Details:
    • Move-in date must be scheduled at least 4 days from the email date.
    • Include a note about the Move-In Concierge service if the tenant is using the Resident Benefits Package.
  4. Sample Email Template:
    • Subject Line: MOVE-IN - [PROPERTY ADDRESS]

Body:

Good [Morning/Afternoon],


I am happy to inform you that we are ready to start the move-in process! I have looped in your property manager, [Manager Name]. [Manager Name] will contact you within the next 24 hours to schedule your move-in date.


Your move-in date request needs to be at least 4 days from today.
